Krishna Temple is one of the most famous structures in the area and is the main attraction to the Hindus visiting the area as Lord Krishna is worshiped in Nepalese society with great faith and homage. We can see hundreds of Hindus coming to worship Lord Krishna during the Krishna Janmastami(Krishna's Birthday).
Patan Museum is yet another attraction of the Patan Area as it provides a sense of ancient lifestyles in the city, culture, traditions and customs. As this city is known as the oldest Buddhist City, it has many Buddhist attractions such as Hiranya Varna Mahavihar and Mahaboudha. Hiranya Varba Mahavihar is also known as the Golden Temple where Golden Statue of Lord Buddha is found.

Equally rich in culture, traditions and festivals as Bhaktapur and Kathmandu Durbar Squares, this area provides different experience of festivals of the city.
Shree Krishna Janmastami is one of the most celebrated and famous festivals of this area. Thousands of devotees pay a visit to Krishna Temple to pay their homage to Lord Krishna. Similarly, Buddha Jayanti is also celebrated in a grand way here. As Dashain is the greatest Nepalese festival, it is celebrated in the Palace premises. Others like Bhoto Jatra and Rato Machhendranath Jatras are also the major attractions of the place.
